November's presentation will be given by David Green, an accomplished photographer, who has also been a faculty member of Yavapai College for ten (10) years. Mr. Green teaches a wide range of computer courses, from introduction to computers to advanced graphic design. In addition to
teaching at Yavapai College, Mr. Green also teaches computer classes at the Sedona Communtiy Center in West Sedona, AND has been designing commercial websites for thirteen (13) years.
We have it on good authority, Mr. Green brings a good deal of patience and a great sense of humor to his classes. David is fluent in both techno-speak and human language.
Saturday's workshop will cover:
- Photo editing using simple graphic programs
- How to scan photos into your PC
- MS Word to create "word art" for photo captions
- MS Word to layout photos and text
- Demonstration of Photoshop, a professional design software for those who want to go further.
Please join us on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at The VOCA Community Center, 690 Bell Rock Blvd. Our (primarily PC) Computer Club is open to the public and all skill levels are welcome.
